Institutions still exist, markets still trade, and money still moves—but the operating system underneath it all has changed. Most people haven’t noticed yet. Those who do will define the next era.

AI security is failing because it is built on information that lies about its own cost. If your system cannot see the energy, computation, and time required to produce an action, an output, or a claim, then adversaries, especially AI adversaries, will exploit it. That failure is not fixable with policy, audits, or better models. It requires a different primitive.

Fiat money collapses the future into the present. It rewards impatience, leverage, and narrative over reality. When money is engineered to lose value, the rational response is to consume, speculate, and pull tomorrow into today. This is high time preference masquerading as growth.
